Medellin was the first track from the album titled Madame X released on June 14, 2019. – “We built a cartel just for love. Venus was hovering above us (Oh, yeah) I took a trip, it set me free (Mi reina) Forgave myself for being me (Ay-ay-ay).”
Where do I begin with this song and video?
I was still working on ACT I when Madonna released this song and video. The introduction alone resonated very deeply at the time of the release.
Introduction: Dear God, How could I trust anyone after years of disappointment and betrayal? (You would have to read ACT I to understand that statement.) How could I not want to run away? Again and again….escape…(I spent most of my adult life running away.) I will never be what society expects me to be. (That’s me totally.) I’ve seen too much. I cannot turn back. I’ve been kidnapped, tortured, humiliated and abused. (Perhaps not physically, but emotionally and mentally for sure.) And yet I still have hope I still believe in the goodness of humans. (Hope helps.) Thank god for nature (a HUGE part of Chapter Two – ACT I – 72 Days of God) and the angels (included in the rest of my story) that surround me. For the spirit of my mother who is always protecting me. (Yes!)
The first images of Madonna in the dark hair instantly reminded me of my mother when she was a young woman. My mother had the bluest eyes. Maluma reminded me of my father.
In Hebrew, the letter X represents Christ, so all of this hit home.
The song starts out with the lyrics, I took a pill and had a dream (Me too), I went back to my 17th year. My mother got married to my father at the age of 16, during her 17th year.
Then there were the lyrics, One, two, one, two, one, two, cha-cha-cha. My autobiography mentions the numbers 1, 2, 3 a lot. Again, using numerology and our birthdates, Madonna was represented by the number 2, and I was represented by the number 1. The phrase one, two, cha-cha-cha appeared to have a hidden code embedded in it.
Whenever those three numbers appeared any time during my journey I always knew that my mother’s spirit was around guiding me from the other side.
And to take things a step further, the white horse with the rider draped in black represented the positive and negative influences of the The 72 Names of God angels invoked throughout my adventure, but primarily in ACT 1 – Blood – Kindred Spirits. Madonna’s character in this scene represented me working with those angels.
Madonna falling to her knees expressed how I felt when I found out the devastating news.
However, I got back up and continued with my life.
The verse: “We built a cartel just for love, Venus was hovering above us (Oh, yeah), I took a trip, it set me free (My queen), Forgave myself for being me (Ay-ay-ay).” for me represented the cartel or mutual interest between her music and my story.
Venus hovered overhead every evening when I performed various prayers and ceremonies on the Transfiguration of Christ mountain during ACT V – The Transfiguration of Christ. And finally, my entire story was about me taking a very long trip that eventually set me free from my past. And I eventually forgave myself for being me!
Madonna and Maluma riding away together at the end of the video represented my mother and father riding off into the sunset together after their passing.
I loved this song so much that I made a dance video and posted it on Madonna And Christ Instagram account.
This song is dedicated to my parents and the love they had for each other.

[Intro: Madonna]
One, two, one, two
One, two, cha-cha-cha
One, two, two, one
Two, one, cha, cha-cha-cha
[Verse 1: Madonna & Maluma]
I took a pill and had a dream (Me too)
I went back to my 17 year
Allowed myself to be naive (Tell me)
To be someone I’ve never been (I love it)
I took a sip and had a dream
And I woke up in Medellín (Do you like it?)
The sun was caressing my skin (Tell me)
Another me could now begin (Woo)
[Verse 2: Maluma]
Relax, baby, I got you
We don’t have to talk much to get things started
If you want to be my queen, I’ll crown you
And here’s a throne for you to take a seat
You like to ride, that’s clear
If you feel that I’m going fast, I’ll take it down a notch
Excuse me, I know you’re Madonna
But I’ll show you how this dog makes you fall in love
[Chorus: Madonna & Maluma]
Come with me, let’s take a trip
I’ll take you to a far away place
Come with me, I’ll be so good for you
You’ll fall for me, You’ll fall for me, mami (Ay-ay-ay)
Come with me, let’s take a trip
Give me some of what you’re drinking
Come with me, I’ll be so good for you
(Ay-ay-ay)
[Verse 3: Madonna & Maluma]
Sipping my pain just like champagne
Found myself dancing in the rain with you
I felt so naked and alive (Show me)
For once I didn’t have to hide myself (Say it)
[Verse 4: Maluma]
Hey mamacita, what’s wrong? (Tell me)
We’re already at my place (Yeah)
If you feel that there’s a trip in your mine (woo)
Maybe it’s because of the Aguardiente (tell them)
But baby, relax, enjoy the moment
We are in Colombia, there’s a party in every corner
And if you want, we’ll go to Detroit (You know)
If I know where you come from, then I know where to go
[Chorus: Madonna & Maluma]
Come with me, let’s take a trip
I’ll take you to a far away place
Come with me, I’ll be so good for you
You’ll fall for me, You’ll fall for me, mami (Ay-ay-ay)
Come with me, let’s take a trip
Give me some of what you’re drinking
Come with me, I’ll be so good for you
(Ay-ay-ay)
[Post-Chorus: Maluma & Madonna]
You’ll fall for me (If I fall for you)
In less than a year, no, no (Hahaha)
We’re going, we’re going to Medallo (Oh, how sweet)
You’ll fall for me (If I fall for you)
It’s what I love, no, no
Then mami, mami, mami, we’ll get married
(Cha-cha-cha)
[Bridge: Madonna & Maluma]
One, two, cha-cha-cha
One, two, cha-cha-cha
One, two, cha-cha-cha
One, two, slow down, papi (Woo)
One, two, cha-cha-cha
One, two, cha-cha-cha
One, two, cha-cha-cha
One, two, ay-ay-ay
[Verse 5: Madonna & Maluma]
We built a cartel just for love
Venus was hovering above us (Oh, yeah)
I took a trip, it set me free (My queen)
Forgave myself for being me (Ay-ay-ay)
[Chorus: Madonna & Maluma]
Come with me, let’s take a trip
I’ll take you to a far away place
Come with me, I’ll be so good for you
You’ll fall for me, You’ll fall for me, mami (Ay-ay-ay)
Come with me, let’s take a trip
Give me some of what you’re drinking
Come with me, I’ll be so good for you
[Post-Chorus: Maluma & Madonna]
You’ll fall for me (If I fall for you)
In less than a year, no, no (Hahaha)
We’re going, we’re going to Medallo (Oh, how sweet)
You’ll fall for me (If I fall for you)
It’s what I love, no, no
Then mami, mami, mami, we’ll get married
